Driver's seat

A light-weight drag seat and 5-point Stroud harness keep the driver securely fastened during racing.

All pertinent information is within the driver's field of vision.

A-pillar gauges

Gauge pod on the A-pillar holds Autometer fuel pressure and boost gauges as well as a Raptor shift light.

Interior

A view from the passenger's side. The passenger's seat is removed during racing to reduce the weight of the car.

Shifter

B&M Pro Stick shifter with an electric Dedenbear shifter selenoid is used to change gears of the Freddy Brown-built Powerglide transmission. Parachute release handle is located right next to the shifter. Data logging in Big Stuff 3 and a Pro Torque variable stall converter are activated via a switch next to the shifter housing.

Glovebox

The glove compartment holds the Innovative boost controller and alcohol injection control module.

Boost Controller

Innovative boost controler enables the driver to configure boost setting for the launch as well as 5 different stages of boost for down-track. Stages can be activated manually by pushing a button or automatically by time, rpm, or gear.

Interior

Full stock interior was retained including the stereo and climate control. A water temperature gauge resides next to the shifter within the driver's field of vision.

Engine Management

Third generation Big Stuff 3 engine managament computer is used to control the engine's performance and log data from each race. Changes to the tune can be made at the track by attaching a laptop computer to Big Stuff 3 via a serial port.

Window net

A stroud window safety net is attached to the chromoly Neverlift Racecraft-built roll cage.

Roll cage

The profesionals at Neverlift Racecraft designed and built this chromoly roll cage. It has been certified by NHRA to elapsed times of 7.50.

Trunk

A 5 gallon fuel cell and the battery reside in the trunk. VP Fuels C16 116 octane race fuel is used at the track.

Parachute

A Stroud parachute is attached to the frame of the vehicle. It can be quickly deployed in case brakes alone can't slow the vehicle down before the sand trap.

Front

The air flows over the intercooler through several openings in the front fascia. Conical air filters are located at the front of the vehicle as well.

Electric water pump

An electric water pump is tuned on while the car is being serviced between races to keep the coolant temperature down. Along with the pump, fans are also operating to draw heat away from the engine bay and intercooler.

Strange brakes are installed to slow the vehicle down.

Wheels

Rear Weld wheels are wrapped in Mickey Thompson ET Drag slicks. 28 X 11.5 X 15.

Axles

Strange axles are used to help propel the car to sub-8.5 second elapsed times.

Weld wheels are not only beautiful, they are also extremely light-weight.

Because of its efficiency, a 12-bolt rear was chosen by Neverlift Racecraft for this application

Shocks

QA1 coil-over shocks in the rear.

Shocks

Adjustable QA1 front shocks are set at their softest setting to help lift the front end during launches and settle it back onto the track gently. Front suspension is stock.
